Day 162

When people look at me, I know what they're thinking.
They're thinking that I am one seriously sophisticated character; a very cool and well cultured customer who knows his way around a high-end establishment.
And they'd be correct.
The last 161 days of posts on this blog should serve as testament to that, and today, Day 162 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge, will be no different. For instance, this evening I shall be attending a night of fine French wines and live poetry courtesy of Felix Dennis.
See?
How many of you thought I'd be doing that tonight instead of tweeting my every asinine thought about ITV-2's calamity lineup?

Dennis, a man who surely needs no introduction, begins the first leg of his latest poetry tour ' Did I Mention The Free Wine? The Cut Throat Tour ' tonight and I will be in attending wearing this official tour T-shirt which was donated to my challenge earlier in the week. The T-shirt and indeed the tour are all in place to celebrate the release of Dennis' latest poetry volume 'Love, Of A Kind', of which extracts will be heard tonight. The design features an illustration of a heart wrapped in barbed wire with an angel's halo above and a devil's tail below, drawn as tattoo style artwork.

The night is billed as "the poetry event of the year" and I have no reason to doubt that it will be, especially as the star guest is the ever controversial creator of Dennis Publishing who once declared keeping the company of "14 naked hookers" who did his bidding, such as serve wine and adjust microphone stands.

Yes sir, "the poetry event of the year".
