Day 208

For Day 208 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge I am wearing a T-shirt my wife brought back for me from her holiday in China last year.
I find myself saying that a lot on this blog lately, I guess I've now reached the part of the pile where those tees happened to be. That's fair enough, but what surprises me is how many times I've had to say it, that is, just how many of these Chinese T-shirts there are...

My wife is by no means a light traveller. I don't think we've ever left the country without having to sacrifice some of my ample suitcase space to accommodate the plethora of whacky nicknacks she's deemed worthy to take on our adventures because her bag is always bursting at the seams. I'll leave the room for a few moments and when I return I find my suitcase suspiciously breaching its capacity. In the past, I've witnessed my wife's full force of cunning at play, as she attempts to make her baggage meet the minimum weight allowance at airport security lines by wearing eight layers of clothing and balancing all of the fruit she's been gifted by her family on her head, trying to pass it off as an exotic hat.

So what surprises me is how she managed to carry out this variety of tactics in China without my suitcase to rely on and yet still find a way to add several souvenir T-shirts for me into the mess.
However she did it, I'm grateful, as many days of my challenge have relied on those tees to get me this far. And now this bright yellow Billabong article with rows and rows of splashy blue squiggles and text has just taken me one day further.
