Day 290

When my friends and I went to watch the Marvel Avengers movie at the cinema a while back, we did so dressed as regular, inconspicuous-looking people.
Well, everyone except Kevin.
Kevin, an engineer and 'tinkerer' by trade, decided to attend wearing a T Shirt he'd crafted himself, the chest of which featured a construction of circuitry and LED lighting mimicking the iconic design of Tony Stark's life-saving mini-arc reactor from the story.

In a darkened cinema theatre, it's pretty easy to spot when someone is fiddling with their phone. Turns out, it's even easier to spot an entire row of people are trying to fiddle with an arc reactor, though in Kev's defence, the preview messaging only made mention of shutting off mobile phones, not imitation fantasy tech.

A more cinema-friendly (and machine washable) rendition of the T-shirt can be purchased at 8ball.co.uk, as I found out when Richard donated this amazing FIFTH article to my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T Shirt challenge. The high-quality digital print in the centre of the chest shows the arc at full power against the black cotton, keeping the wearer shrapnel-free and striking heroic poses all day long.

This'll be the third Iron Man T Shirt that 8ball.co.uk have sent me, so fans of the film saga will surely be spoilt for choice when purchasing their tees from the retailer's Movies category.

However, if you don't want a cinema-friendly and machine washable Iron Man T-shirt, give this a try.
