I often wonder where the limit to my friend Paddy's sense of humour lies. Perhaps there isn't one? Well actually, no, there isn't one. Paddy rarely offers an anecdote that doesn't leave someone in his audience questioning whether or not they've been violated enough to need to call the police.
Paddy's the kind of guy who when faced with the opportunity to dictate exactly what will be emblazoned across the chest of one of his friends for an entire day, he will log onto the Daily Mash webshop without a moment's hesitation and purchase the first relatively disturbing and abstract T-shirt he can find. In fact, for Day 371 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge, Day 6 of the project's 'Extra Time', that is exactly what he did.
The T-shirt he presented me with is a promotional item for a mock Cop TV show that lands somewhere between The Bridge and The Killing, celebrating a ludicrous fusion of mental disability and bilingual miscommunication; two hot potatoes that would place my blog under certain scrutiny were they disclosed in full or actually celebrated in any way. What's more, the whole concept of the design is aimed at a particular area of the globe and I don't want to feel the wrath of an entire international population, nor do I wish to damage my favourability there, with a blatant showcasing of this garment.
All things considered, I've opted to fold my arms in today's T-shirt photo to shield the more sensitive members of my challenge readership from the horror, but trust me, the caption beneath has not failed to raise eyebrows or encourage chuckles from those around me, proving that this T-shirt is only as offensive as your own disposition. Still, I can't take that risk on the Internet; that would almost certainly get me killed before the day is out.
If you do wish to discover the full content of today's T-shirt, I suggest you discreetly conduct your own research around the Daily Mash webshop.
Thanks ever so much for your kind donation Paddy. Let's just hope the charity that ends up receiving my donated challenge tees is in favour of neither of the parties this garment condemns!
