Day 229

If you were to ask me to list my top three comic book heroes (or comic characters generally for that matter), you can bet your arc reactor that Iron Man would be sitting proudly in that trio.
As a concept, I can't fault Iron Man at all; his abilities are plausible, his limitations are appropriate and his style is certainly a thing to envy. Even Hollywood has been relatively kind to him in it's first two treatments of the movie franchise (I'll omit any mention of the third film here for obvious reasons).

You can imagine my joy upon seeing today's brilliant T shirt donation tumble out of the package sent by Richard at 8ball.co.uk. It's one of around 6000 tees available from their online store and can be found under their Movie category.
Titled 'Stark Knight Rises' (adapted from the film title of a, ahem, lesser super hero), the design has the look of an alt movie poster about it, owing to its minimal detail and subtle colouration, especially the deviation from the typical gold and red Iron Man colour palette. Printed marginally off-center, the design features a double-layered silhouette of the Iron Man suit in block colour presented with an interesting play on translucence which helps reveal his signature aesthetic attributes; his mask eyes and chest arc.

Of all the comic-book themed tees to appear in my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge, this is by far my favourite.
