Day 333

For Day 333 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge (a positively delightful number by the way) I am wearing a tee donated by Rebecca from Manchester based Stylewise UK. The T-shirt comes from their brand Bellfield Clothing which has a heritage of craft and design dating back to the 70s, as well as an aesthetic inspired by Great British explorers of the past. Indeed, this Bellfield Clothing T-shirt upholds the values of times gone by effectively, owing to its deliberate acid wash and wear effects throughout. The simple two-tone blue striped garment is tinged with whitened marks to accent the hem, cuffs, neckline and seam details, all of which give it a feeling of age; as though it were recently rediscovered in a forgotten box in the loft after 50 years - a relic from misspent youth.

The chest pocket is a nice detail which manages to simultaneously evoke the nostalgic era of workwear, while also being bang on trend with today's casual look.

As well as a flourishing men's line, Bellfield Clothing have recently rolled out their first women's apparel, specialising in the knitwear that established their beginnings. Seasonal jumpers for both sexes are also currently available from their website as part of their Autumn/Winter collection - just in time for the forthcoming bad weather...
