Day 362

Afro Shiva is the title of today's IdiotGenius T-shirt donation and sounds like it would be one of those 70's pseudo-cool cop movies that now languishes in the shelves of some obscure highstreet DVD rental store. On the back of the case, amid the psychedelic twirling artwork, would be a plot summary reading something like "She's brown sugar and spice, but if you don't treat her nice, she'll put you on ice! She may be a diva, but she's still Afro Shiva!"

The film itself would be an intriguing blend of Hindu culture and wooden-acted crime fighting. Under usual circumstances Shiva is the patron god of arts and yoga, but the deity in this movie is more akin to martial arts and garrotting.

Stood within a circle of knuckledusters and atop a television set depicting a nuclear explosion, the heroine on Day 362's IdiotGenius T-shirt donation brandishes an array of weaponry in her many limbs, promising a solid 90 minutes packed with pure Afro Shiva; creator, preserver, destroyer, revealer, concealer and cooker of fools.
