Day 13

Twelve days of my T-shirt wearing challenge have passed and I have so far managed to avoid addressing anything profane, vulgar or depraved.
However the post pertaining to day 13 of my challenge will be quite another story, though for the protection of the masses reading this, I will have to sugar-coat it. Literally.

So today I am wearing a T-shirt donated by Dennis Publishing’s Bizarre magazine and its design is all about ice cream.

Yes it is.

The Knickerbocker Glory is a fruit, meringue and ice cream concoction served in a tall glass, topped off with whipped cream and syrup. For some reason, it’s named after a type of short trousers favoured by sportsmen.
To the best of my speculation, the ‘Nickerbocker Glory Hole’ was a famous establishment erected to dispense these treats to anyone who fancied one, hence the logo; a luminous green and pink arched text with 3D shadowing.

It’s probably best that you don’t fact-check anything I just said using the Internet.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
