I woke up this morning to a gloriously fresh, bright, and overall unexpected nice day outside. This could well be the last few drops of summer being squeezed out of the seasonal packet, so I should clad myself in a seasonally appropriate T-shirt design to match.
Looking through my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge stock has turned up slim pickings – there are very few tees left there as it is, let alone one's categorically akin with the weather. However I have found one that fits the bill – this Custom Ink printed garment promoting the 5th Lifeguard and Beach Boy Reunion of Ed's Beach Service. According to the design, the reunion is due to take place in a few weeks from now and if the illustration is anything to go by, it will be mostly populated by aged former-lifeguards who desperately cling to their memories of attractive young women and their former attractive selves.
Ed's Beach Service are a Florida based organisation renting out luxury beach loungers to resorts across the state. Clues in the design imply that they have been in business since 1955 and if that's true, it's surprising that their 5th reunion is only occurring this year. Nevertheless, they've enlisted the help of Custom Ink to produce the quality commemorative garments needed for the event, one of which has kindly been donated to my project.
