Day 328

I'm not going to lie. As my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge moves into the end of November, I am beginning to freeze on a daily basis*. I have 37 more days left to contend with this turmoil until I can finally reach for the hoodies. It is certainly going to be taxing...

In the meantime though, I will be spending Day 328 inside this special T-shirt created and donated by Darren at County Durham based Militree. Darren is a former British Army Warrant Officer with 22 years of service under his belt. Now retired, he took his experience and ideas from the service forward to form military themed apparel brand Militree Design and Clothing. The design on each garment produced by the company is targeted towards a different community of the global military. For example, in the case of today's donated tee, the veterans of Gibraltar Garrison (BFPO 52) have been encouraged to "Rock On!" while they relax and reflect upon their own retirement. The pun-based quip sits atop a night-time photograph of Gibraltar bay alongside both the British and Gibraltar flags.

As well as the stock available to purchase from the clothing website, Darren explains that he also creates custom garment prints, so get in contact if you have a project in mind.

See more from Militree via their Twitter account.

*At the time of writing, it is 16°C and sunny in Gibraltar. It is opposite that on both counts in London.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
