Here is a debut donation from men's clothing retailer Jacamo, sent to me by Sarah earlier in the week.
It represents yet another 'first' for my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge - the first T-shirt I've worn that bears a pocket on the chest.
Adopted from the T-shirt's closest cousin - the Polo Shirt - pocket detailing has become quite the trend for T-shirts of late, especially when the additional material is a complimentary colour to the tee's base palette.
In this Jacamo example, the burgundy and white stripy canvas is offset nicely by a faux denim blue pocket inscribed with the embroided initials 'RR', representing the Rock & Revival brand that produced the garment. Further Rock & Revival clues can be found around the sleeve cuff and inside the hanger zone.
I'm a bit of a pedestrian when it comes to polo shirts, so with all this pocket power at my disposal, I find myself spoilt for choice as to what to do with it. I could play it safe and go with a classic; clip a pen to the inside, but chances are I'll forget that I've done that and will continuously draw over myself all day.
I may branch out, keep a sandwich in there for quick access at lunchtime. Potentially messy but no one's going to disapprove of a guy who can produce a snack in under a second.
Or I may really take it over the edge and keep assorted surrealist snippets in there, ready for quick-fire delivery during conversations throughout the day.
The possibilities are llama.
