Day 287

Snafu Comic, it seems, are the Masters of Mashup. The last time I wore one of their designs was back on Day 276 when Shark Robot donated their second tee to my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge.
Today, the quirky gaming enthusiasts have sent one more, this time a Pokemon meets Mass Effect situation.

Charmander is one of the original Pokemon lineup and is basically a dragon who's tail is on fire. As expected, his primary attack moves all utilise throwing flame at his enemies, but as this garment shows, the reptilian creature harbours a hidden talent reserved for dispatching Reapers - he can joyfully wield and operate an M-8 Avenger Rifle.
Normally in the hands of Commander Shepard and Co, the standard issue weapon which fires in semi or fully automatic modes is drawn here in very high detail, which set against the firestorm orange, makes for an impressively menacing design.

You only need a quick glance at the Shark Robot online store to see that this tee is a happy resident among hundreds of other offbeat alternative culture examples designed for the lost boys of the digital age. Like me.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
