Day 308

"Pain is fuel" is the message conveyed by Day 308's THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge donation from Victoria at Spreadshirt.

If the inspiration for this design came from the pain felt while dragging oneself out of the house early on a bitterly cold autumn morning, then I can most definitely contest to fuel being derived from it. As I look around this train carriage of weary commuters, each and every one of them, myself included, has left their minds fast asleep in their beds from which their bodies were cruelly ejected.

Having tried to look into the design on the Spreadshirt network, I struggle to locate it, possibly due to a lack of fuel. I did find a tee by design community member GrannyDanny which exhibits the same message, but the typeface used in the design has been altered, so I'm wondering if this is actually an amended re-submission. If so, I can tell from GrannyDanny's other work on the Spreadshirt portfolio that this and other messages all pertain to sport and training and being physical and a host of other equally taxing activities that all fall well outside of my comprehension.

And if pain actually were fuel, this train would have rocketed into London an hour ago!

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
