Day 268

Well this is embarrassing.
No, not me dozing on a sun lounger while I get my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge photo for Day 268 taken - I'm cool with that. I deserved the rest after spending half the night trying to chase a monstrous cicada out of the hotel balcony after it stormed in uninvited, plus I'd been snorkeling for several hours previously which is also quite a slog.
What's embarrassing is the error I'd made in the post I'd written to accompany this photo.
In my semi-conscious sun-drenched state, I'd written a lengthy post all about the city of London and how yet another intriguing illustration of it features in yet another Pull & Bear birthday tee gifted to me from my family.
Or so I thought.
Just as I was about to hit the big red glowing 'publish' button and share my insights with the world, I noticed among the scrawled handwriting that flows throughout the design the word 'Lisboa'.
Lisboa, or Lisbon to you and me, is in Portugal, not London, so there's a good chance that this T-shirt design actually references Portugal, not London. I reckon I made the mistake when assuming the structure on the left of the design was somewhat Tower Of London like in its appearance, and that the anonymous horse-riding-guard statue on the right was one of the millions of unassuming statues that seem to litter London and contribute to its grandeur. Unfortunately the rest of the handwriting isn't clear enough to offer further clues.

Not only do I now have no topical written material prepared for today's T-shirt challenge blog post, I can't even relate to the subject matter to make something up now, on account of me only ever visiting Portugal once and unhelpfully not to Lisbon. So let's go over the raw source material instead:

This is a blue T-shirt. So far so good.
It has a black on white print of city-centre landmarks and statues, surrounded by splashes of yellow and orange watermarks. Still looking good.
Throughout the design, several hand-written words and sentences are dotted around, one of which reads 'Lisboa'. None of which read 'London'.

I think I better leave this here...

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
