Oh.
Oh no.
It's happened.
AGAIN!
On Day 247 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge I recounted the ordeal of having been sent an anonymous failed delivery card courtesy of Royal Mail, on behalf of the UK Customs office. Due to insufficient postage fees being paid by an unknown T-shirt donator, the package pertaining to the card is being held by Customs officers until such time that the outstanding money is paid. I for one shall not be paying that fee - I can't. Rule #2 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge forbids me from purchasing any T-shirts to help me meet my target of wearing 365 this year.
The added complication is that nowhere on the Royal Mail card does it specify who the sender of the package is, not even when I follow up the Reference number online, so I cannot even contact the sender and alert them to the problem.
And now a mere three weeks later, the same thing has happened again.
I'm sitting at my desk and holding a second ransom note from the postal company, this time demanding a whopping £20.74 for the release of the package!
£20.74!? That's got to be a hefty parcel brimming with precious tees! I badly need those garments to pull my stock level out of its current 'LOW' slump if I'm to successfully complete my challenge, but once again, I have no idea from where they've originated.
My only hope of getting those T-shirts is if the donator is following my blog closely and reads this plight...
