Day 75

Thanks to today's donated T-shirt from Jenna at Out Of Print (this being an incredible third donation she has made to my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge), I've just received another culture injection, and a lot of intriuging looks from those visiting London today.
The Brooklyn based company sell T-shirts that feature jacket cover designs of classic novels and literature; you may recognise today's as Ernest Hemingway's For Whom The Bell Tolls.
It's a story set in the mid-30's documenting lead character Robert Jordan's experiences in the Spanish Civil War and features all the classic components necessary for a thrilling tale. There's conflict (killing and war and stuff), romance (kissing and lust and stuff), betrayal (his mate steals his stuff), friendship (his mate apologises about stealing stuff), victory (he achieves some stuff), and defeat (he stuffs it up).

Try as I might I cannot find a copy of the novel featuring this release of the cover design, which is a shame as I'd really like to see if the print is as attractive in book format as it is on this Out Of Print T-shirt.
The typefaces are an interesting mix of bladed edges and care-free loops, both upper and lower case, and its composition compliments the three-tone central illustration of Spanish landscape.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
