Day 325

For Day 325 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge I am wearing a tee that will cause several of my most nerdy friends to lose their minds, donated to my project by Rob at GraphicLab Tees.

We all know that Dr Who's Police Call Box conceals a great mystery within - the TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimension in Space). It's basically a giant time machine and spacecraft rolled into one, disguised as a public police call box (which would actually stand out quite conspicuously these days as there really aren't that many legitimate police call boxes around to blend in with. It'd be like asking Will Smith to walk around unnoticed in Bel Air).

Even greater though is the other mystery the Police Call Box conceals, which I'm pleased to reveal for the very first time today via this GraphicLab Tees design.

Ready for this?

Dr Who's Police Call Box is also a transformer.

Please collect the pieces of your mind from around the room.

Yep, it's true. Whenever The Doctor is in entirely too much trouble, his trusty TARDIS clicks and clunks until it has morphed into the form of a giant bow-tie wearing Autobot, ready to save the day. It doesn't come up much in the TVs shows history, but if you pause episode The Idiot's Lantern in the 2nd series at 16:06 minutes, you can see the Whobot casually leaning against a coffee shop in the background, chatting with Will Smith.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
