In a word, 'tight'.
There are plenty of other words to describe Day 330's T-shirt but I'm going to start with tight.
Due to the fact that the design on this donated tee celebrates all things mojito - a predominantly feminine beverage - I had to question whether or not this was actually a lady's top when I first pulled it snugly over my head. Turns out though that my father, brother and nephew who went on something of a lad's getaway earlier in the year were simply under the influence of several mojitos at the time of purchase, and perhaps didn't appropriately assess its dimensions.
So to begin with, it's the wrong size.
Next word. 'Interesting'.
It's certainly interesting isn't it? It's a silvery grey concoction with sporadic green and red highlights, and text affirming the viewer from all angles that this is indeed a mojito (in the top left corner behind the central glass illustration is a break down of the mojito ingredients, for example).
Final word 'tacky'.
Just to really put the design in context, the first letter of the whacky headline typeface has a piercing - the token embodiment of rave junkies the world over. This then is a tacky party T-shirt and it doesn't surprise me in the least that my kin discovered it in a touristy beach shop in Spain. They tell me that as the tourism season was coming to a close during their visit, T-shirts like this were going dirt cheap, as were meals and drinks.
Were it not for them each being hellbent on finding horrendous T-shirts to donate towards my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge, I would have concluded that in their drunken state they'd purchased this tee thinking it genuinely was another mojito.
Still, a tee is a tee and this one has drawn me one day closer to reaching my challenge goal.
Thanks family!
