Remember back on Day 305 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge when I had the awesome pleasure of wearing a Rella brand product ahead of their official launch? Well lead designer of the team, Maryam, has also clued me up on some of her other design endeavours freelancing under the moniker ISIS.
For the past two years she has been commissioned work by production duo AZEDIA, to design the branding and covers of all their EPs. Her latest project with the musicians was to put together the cover of their first album which has just launched today.
To celebrate the launch, Maryam has had the principle graphic of the cover printed on a plain white T-shirt and donated it to my project - another exclusive T-shirt from another freshly launched line!
The image shows a mirror image of two trees joined at the base, presented horizontally, and coloured in a rainbow fashion from trunk to twig. The landscape composition and high central placement of the graphic on the canvas lends itself visually to representing a lung structure, complete with branch-like bronchioles. All in all, the subtext of the artwork does well to reflect the album title Life Goes On.
