Day 70

"Recent research has shown that empirical evidence for globalization of corporate innovation is very limited and as a corollary the market for technologies is shrinking. As a world leader, it's important for America to provide systematic research grants for our scientists. I believe strongly there will always be a need for us to have a well-articulated innovation policy with emphasis on human resource development."

It's hard to believe that such well rounded insights on America's bio-technology funding were formulated by the same man who only days earlier insisted he was "going streaking up through the quad and into the gymnasium!"

Today's THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge T-shirt has been donated by Megan from 80sTees.com all the way over in Pennsylvania. It celebrates Frank 'The Tank' Ricard and his surprising penchant for ribbon twirling rhythmic gymnastics, proving that not all of his gymnasium endeavours are nude.
Frank is a tremendously funny character played by Will Ferrel in the 2003 movie Old School, a movie that I strongly urge you to abandon this blog post and watch immediately if you have not already done so.
And even if you have already done so.

In this scene of the film, Frank must demonstrate his 'floor exercise' abilities in order to gain precious points in an academic and athletic review of the impromptu fraternity that he co-founded with Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson. He does considerably better at this than his previous efforts as an acrobatic cougar who caught on fire during a dance routine.
On the back of the tee just below the neck, the Old School film logo is printed with an obligatory copyright notice.

This is the second T-shirt 80stees.com have donated to my challenge from their selection of cool, retro and funny designs, available for sale on their website

NOW EVERYBODY, WE'RE STREAKING!

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
