Day 72

I very nearly wrote "if Alexander Pope be a pirate..." and then left it at that, but more clarity is probably needed…

This T-shirt be a fantastic THIRD donation from those skalliwags at Shot Dead In The Head, who's web shop bounty of tees features a heap of witty and comedy designs like this one.

Above the hallmark graphic of a skull and cross blades be the twisted quote from Pope, which now reads "To err is human but to arr is pirate" - an obvious nod towards the famed buccaneer lingo. The fusion of high-class culture and thieving wayward sea folk is an unlikely one I must say, but the absence of 'forgiveness' from the repurposed text is actually quite apt given the context.

The stark white print sits well on the smart green canvas and the overall quality of the garment is high(tide) - just like the others donated by Shot Dead In The Head.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
