Day 320

Yep.
I know.
It’s another VW Camper Van.

It’s as if I built my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge on some kind of ancient digital scrap yard. T-shirts paying homage to the haunting vehicle have been sighted all year long and Day 320’s example is possibly the boldest of them all. It is the sole focus of the design; there are no supporting graphics, no accompanying text – no real concept at all. Just a yellow Camper Van illustration parked squarely in the centre of this dark beige tee.

“Here I am. I’m a Camper Van”, is the message behind this design, followed almost certainly by a ghostly “Wooooooo!”

The major difference between this tee and previous examples from the VW fleet is that this one did not originally pull out of my wardrobe. This one was a donation to my challenge from my brother as presumably he grew tired of being visited by phantom hippies in the middle of the night.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
