Day 193

With a little over 170 days to go, my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge is still on course and new donations are steadily trickling in, though not at the rate they once were. This could lead to stormy weather in the coming months, but for the time being, the forecast is clear.

For Day 193 I am wearing this third donation from music streetwear specialists Bravado. It's a lightweight white tee with a neckline that gapes a little wider than I'm accustomed to, but I kind of like it. The print in the centre depicts Queen front man Freddie Mercury striking a powerful doubled-back stance whilst performing to a giant crowd of fans at Milton Keynes.

Bravado's relationship with Mercury has intensified over recent years as is evident from their involvement with last year's Freddie For A Day campaign that sold Mercury themed merchandise to raise funds for AIDS awareness.

Bravado have a pretty sound reputation for their ability to source sort-after and iconic shots of artists and performers to be printed on garments for a huge range of retailers. This is achieved either by the Bravado archivers who handle the licensing of obtaining imagery, or directly from the Bravado photographers who are at the front line of live gigs and concerts.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
