Day 228

Sarah from popular menswear retailer Jacamo has donated a second T-shirt to my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge, this time from their Amplified collection. The Amplified brand is heavily music enthused, representing the best of both vintage and modern rock cultures. This design has rolled straight out of the 80's American rock scene - a time when roaming the open road on a dirt-bike was the primary pursuit of gentlemen without faces.
Bearing a striking resemblance to Marvel's Ghost Rider, the winged hero on today's tee is positioned on a black and white landscape, framed by a decaying border that is distressed by grain and grime throughout, giving the design the feeling that it has been pinned up in a mechanic's garage on the edge of the State for the past 30 years, or perhaps a single cell from an old projection film reel.
Traces of colour can be found around the muted canvas, spot checked from the American flag palette that's tied around the rider's head to really lock down the American rebel culture.

Overall I really like this tee - the design is pretty cool and I'll never shy away from a full-canvas print, plus I'm really coming around to photography-based T-shirt designs in general.

With a heavy focus on size-friendly clothing, Jacamo strives to be the leading hassle-free menswear retailer, with a bloke-friendly website and a supply of top quality brands.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
