Day 293

Surrey-based T-shirt retailer and design studio BeUnrivalled got in touch with me recently about sending one of their original designs over to feature in my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge.
After a little back and forth (which refers to message exchanging, nothing weird) the guys proved true to their word and an envelop containing their Fully Inked Compass design was soon on my doorstep.

As you can see, for Day 293, I am wearing that very T-shirt, which features a full-canvas print of an explorer's compass, comprised of obscure, inter-woven, ink-style lines. As well as the print-work, the garment features red double-stitching around the hem line and sleeves; a nice touch that stands out against the white fabric nicely. A small BeUnrivalled logo can also be found embroided at the base.

Ironically, despite being equipped with such an oversized navigational aid, I managed to get lost walking home from the pub this afternoon, having to backtrack some miles before I found my place. I can conclude that the design on this garment is thoroughly ineffective as an actual compass. BeUnrivalled may know what they're doing in the T-shirt industry, but any venture into the orienteering of tipsy Sunday pedestrians probably needs more development...

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
