Day 11

What do I look like when I wear a T-shirt for a 10 hour flight? Well my curious readers, this is what I look like when... wait… I’ve done this before…

As I mentioned earlier in the week, I've been based at the Consumer Electronics Show continuing my creative project with Samsung. This morning marked my exit from the Show, meaning that most of my day was spent in the sky. It also means my posts from now onwards will be appearing at more user-friendly hours and smelling less of melted cheese and bacon.

Today I'm wearing a birthday gift given to me a few years ago; a Famous Stars and Straps tee, which features the brand name floating about in a greyscale 3D environment. I packed this for my trip as Travis Barker was positioned at the Pioneer booth of the Show and I had hoped to get a photo with him for the blog, but regrettably, other commitments meant that I was unable to do that.

Nevertheless, I really like the fit of this T-shirt, and I also really like the text-based illustration, but I'm not a huge fan of the part where the designer sneezed just before hitting File > Save and passing the artwork over to be mass-printed. That fatal sneeze caused the designer to click down on his mouse, shunt it across his desk and inadvertently drag the black typeface layer of the word “SINCE” away from it's 3D backdrop.

Sadly, my extensive report on this issue will now never be seen by Travis Barker.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
