Day 27

The 2010 layer of Reading festival mud probably still holds a number of my possessions, slowly making their way down to the Earth’s crust.
However one item that made it out of the murk relatively unscathed was this commemorative T-shirt for the event. It's hard to believe that it's still white given the environment it came from.

Like most festival tees, it has a run down of the dates and bands billed along the spine and on the front it has an elaborate illustration themed around aviation and navigation. Two overlapping triangles frame the action, which is comprised of a symmetrical smattering of moths and butterflies, two widespread eagle wings, a large compass and a laurel wreath within which an obligatory festival skull is perched.
It's possibly too abstract for any discernible meaning – maybe a flying skull got lost and asked some helpful insects for directions - but it was certainly more attractive than any of the other offerings at the merchandise booth that year, which if memory serves, were appalling.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
