Day 39

For Day 39 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge I've opted to help Dave find a drummer for his live rock metal band.
He has put together the flyer that you see on my T-shirt today, advertising his requirements. The flyer is relatively succinct - albeit written in what appears to be his own photocopied blood - but Dave has made the rather unusual decision to substitute the more integral details of the drummer's experience, the band's history or even the band's name, for a poorly drawn doodle of two thirds of a drum kit with a posh skeleton on the bass skin.

The most important element of this design is if course the contact telephone number. Without that, would-be rock metal live drummers would be wandering the globe forever yelling "Dave!" whilst wearing classy top hats.

I picked up this Primark design some years back and the chances are the contact phone number is not real, but it's always very tempting to try out numbers that appear on TV or in films or on T-shirts seeking drummers to see what happens.

The number you have dialled is not currently in service.

Oh.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
