Day 100

I wonder how many people in the world can claim to have worn ONE HUNDRED UNIQUE T-SHIRTS back-to-back, spanning one hundred consecutive days of the year?
Well as of today (Day 100 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge) there's at least one.

To celebrate this huge milestone of my project, I will be spending the day inside this donated garment from Monster Threads, which as it happens is a very generous THIRD donation from Magda at the Buckinghamshire based T-shirt retailers.

As you can see, every effort has been made to cram a crudely drawn doodle of a Penny Farthing bicycle onto the canvas of this sky blue T-shirt so that it's largest wheel is centred on the front. The deliberate naivety of the bicycle sketch is of course the appeal of the design; that plus the affiliation with the current trend appreciating all things 'vintage' (see Instagram, Etsy, blokes with outlandish moustaches).
I hope this carefully illustrated design from Monster Threads generates the same level of positive feedback that I received about their previous donations.

So with 100 days of my project down, I dedicate this T-shirt to everyone who upon hearing about my task told me "on your bike!"

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
