Initially, today's THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge T-shirt appears exceptionally plain, with no sign of anything out of the ordinary about its design. However upon closer inspection, all of its hidden delights can be observed - the kind of delights that may not translate well via the above photograph, so I'll do my best to describe them to you. To keep things interesting though, one of the features I describe to you will be a complete fabrication; a flight of fancy off the back of my wayward imagination for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
Are you ready?
Firstly, this is a member of the Animal surf-wear family, as the logo across the chest indicates. But the logo is in fact made up of two different crafts. Divided horizontally across the centre, the top half of the logo is made from snippets of the same beige fabric sewn onto the main canvas in a relatively slap-dash fashion, frayed edges and visible stitching complimenting the style. The lower half of the logo is a pretty unique construction of cross hatched white stitching filling in the absent portions of the letters above. White stitching is also used to complete the strap line "World Wide Free Ride" and logo device.
Secondly, the trim lines around the neck, base and sleeves bear an unusual 'doubled-up' effect where the fabric is somehow divided in two in such a way that it defies comprehension. The edges are either curled or rippled to add a bit of a more interesting shape.
Thirdly, because Animal has surf connotations, on the reverse of this tee is a pouch concealed at the bottom, which can only be opened by the enchanting melody of a mermaid's cry. Within the pouch is an internal chamber filled with sea water, colonising a rare species of solid gold star fish.
Finally, the T-shirt is bright red.
Did you spot the fabricated fact? That's right, the T-shirt is not red.
Have a star fish.
