Day 137

Jimi Hendrix.
If your internal search engine has just returned zero results upon reading those words, you probably shouldn’t be looking at a blog about a T-shirt challenge right now – you should be down at the moodiest record store you can find in your vicinity, thumbing through the Hendrix LPs with an expression of modest admiration on your face.
My THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge T-shirt for Day 137 is the first donation from Suzie at music-merchandising specialists Bravado, and I have to commend her for being able to make a choice about which tee to donate – the selection on their website defies comprehension!
The company’s expertise lies in blending music and fashion together, generating a huge range of garments ready for retailers to snap up, or for fans to buy directly at live events. In the case of this Hendrix design, it’s more likely to be the former of those two distribution channels owing to Hendrix’s untimely departure from the earth, however, had Hendrix still been tearing apart the likes of the Isle Of Wight Festival, a Bravado Road Manager would have been right there with him, ensuring that the fans were receiving their quality designed, fully licensed merchandise.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
