The T-shirt I am wearing for Day 161 has been cheerily donated by a long standing client of mine - CTA Fire. I have been generating design and illustration work for the radio alarm system specialists for many years now, including leaflets, brochures and even a new-and-improved, more up-to-date rendition of the company website, which is currently in development.
They are an absolute joy to work with and are all round good sports, which is why they've been keen to take part in my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge.
CTA Fire have recently become official sponsors of the Kent Kings racing team at the speedway track in Sittingbourne. Since the partnership was formed, CTA Fire have been riding a promotional whirlwind, slapping both the Kent Kings and CTA Fire logos on anything that moves (I imagine this was especially difficult to achieve with the motorbikes). Even I haven't escaped the storm as a drive-by T-shirt advocate collared me on the way in to the office this morning and yanked this bright red T-shirt over my head, bearing an embroidered partnership emblem of both parties on the left breast. He then slammed on the throttle and shot off into the distance yelling "Radio fire alarm and detection systems are awesome!"
On a personal note, this is the first fully embroidered T-shirt to appear in my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge, and as such, my left nipple has now been fully enroled in the school of pain, owing to the intense assault from the wonder-webbing on the reverse of the design.
