Day 216

I tried very hard to grow a long pirate-style beard in time for Day 216's post, but as you can see, I didn't get very far with it. I've been significantly out-pirated by this second T-shirt donation from Micky at MickMick Designs, which features the 'M' portion of their logo adorning a Pierre Lafitte pirate hat, bandanna and eye patch.

In lieu of the beard component, I've had to explore alternate avenues of piracy to get on par with this MickMick Designs tee, such as bearing my best pirate grimace for today's photo. You will be forgiven for also thinking this is my trying-to-grow-a-last-second-beard-before-the-photo-is-taken face.
To make matters worse, I've spent the day bare-foot whilst on the deck, and a couple of times I've repeated the sentences I've uttered to my wife to give the illusion I had a parrot nearby.

To be honest, I have been an absolutely rubbish pirate today, a shadow of the pirate I once was for my 22nd birthday party where my costume was extensively authentic right down to the eye-liner. My wife wouldn't even let me near her eye-liner this morning, even though I asked twice (I was still doing the parrot thing).

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
