Day 242

Nic of Bournemouth based Scoundrels And Dirtbags Society had just made a cup of tea for himself and colleague Phil to kick off another prosperous day of T-shirt designing. Phil was at the computer, clicking through the digital reams of fan mail the company receives each day, when a communication of shining excellence pinged its way into his inbox. It was a marketing email from an impossibly handsome chap calling himself Andi Best and it was promoting his latest folly - the THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge.
Midway through reading it, Phil beckoned Nic to come over.

"Hey Nic, come and look at this. This is possibly the greatest email I've ever seen."
"What is it?"
"It's from some incredible example of humanity in London. He's in the middle of a challenge where he has to wear a different T-shirt everyday for a whole year. He's not allowed to wear any more than once or buy any new ones, so he's looking for donations from all sorts of companies to see him through. He also takes a photograph of himself wearing the T-shirts he gets sent each day and takes time out of his tremendously busy schedule to write up a charming blog post to accompany it. What a stand-up guy huh?"
"I'll say, he sounds like an absolute champion. I vote we send him a T-shirt from our tattoo and music inspired apparel range, fit for surfers, skaters and snowboarders alike."
"Agreed. How about a self-branded one with the Scoundrels And Dirtbags Society title spread across the chest over three lines in alternating black and red Team Spirit font?"
"Perfect, he'll love it."
"Ok, I'll just reply to his email."

"What did you do? You've... Why did you do that?"
"Erm,.. I'm not sure. I didn't mean t--"
"You've deleted his email. You've DELETED his email! Now how the hell are we going to get our bespoke clothing lines featured on the hottest Internet real estate the world has ever known!?"
"Relax, Nic, we just have to remember his website and contact him via the submission form. Think. He had an amazing name, something like Andre Magnanimous. No, that wasn't it..."
"What was the challenge called?"
"THREEHUNDREDAND...T-shirt?"
"Google it. "
"Nope."
"THREEHUNDREDAND...ILOVET-SHIRTS?"

Several days later, Phil and Nic resolved their technical setback by remembering my website. They got in touch and told me they were keen to help me out with my challenge and so for Day 242, they kindly donated this high-quality, comfortable, self-branded tee of awesomeness.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
