Day 294

Now here's a design from laFraise to really get you thinking/processing.

Some days, having a brain entirely composed of motherboards and circuitry would come in handy. It would make my daily web building tasks less of a chore, that's for certain. I could probably just think up most of my website ideas and download them through a USB port in my ear, complete and ready to run. In fact, I genuinely predict that this will be the future of IT - people's thoughts translated directly into digital output from their imagination. What a glorious existence that would be!

Oh wait. The cat people. I'd forgotten about those. The current torrent of cat-based oddities plaguing the Internet is already overwhelming and that was created the traditional way - hard graft and Photoshop. Imagine how overrun we'd be if a cat was spawned every time one of these people merely thought about one. The Internet would become a digital Spanish holiday resort!

Day 294's THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge T-shirt was illustrated by Oxyd-Cygo of the laFraise design community and was donated directly to my project by Nathalie at the company. It features an artificially intelligent nerd embodying this very dark vision of the future and is aptly titled I AM AN AI. He has run his affection.exe program and generated a kitty critter of his own and entombed it in an old school CRT monitor. Better that than in an animated gif I suppose.

If this is the future, the forth-coming energy price-hike rolling blackouts might not be such a bad thing after all...

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
