Day 311

"Winter sun" is a term I hear thrown around recklessly at this time of the year. It basically means;

1) acknowledge that you live in Britain.
2) understand that for 9 months out of the year, leaving your house in the morning will guarantee that you have a truly awful day.
3) your only hope is to head for the equator.

It's true, if you can afford to get away from the horrendous circus of doom that is Britain trying to get its act together because the temperature has dropped a little, this is the way to go.
But for those of us who know our place at the bottom of the food chain, sticking it out and hoping not to die in our own lounges due to having no more photo albums left to burn, is the only option.

Thanks to Rosie at Tees To Dye For, there is another way. She has donated a tee to my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge that allows me to look November squarely in the frozen face and yell "I defy you!"
"I am wearing a tie-dye T-shirt to contest your drab and dreary regime of despair. It is vibrant. It is summery. It has the sleeves rolled up a little bit. It has made me apply sun cream despite it being 6 degrees outside. It has made me take a holiday IN MY MIND."
Once I've yelled that several times in the shopping centre and pedestrians begin taking a wide berth around me, I can rest assured that I will be having a much better time than my neighbours who have shoved off to Cancun for a week.

As the title hopefully suggests, Tees To Dye For deal in garments of the quirky tip and tie dye varieties, meaning that everything they sell is a one-off. Day 311's THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge T-shirt is therefore as unique as it is eye-catching.

And, as a further bonus, it smells FANTASTIC!

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
