Day 339

When you visit the Isles Clothing website you are immediately presented with the question 'Paint or Space?'
It may sound like a complex philosophical word game but the query actually refers to the two flagship T-shirts sold by the brand, titled Paint and Space. Which will you go for?

Josh from the company asked me to make the very same choice during our email exchange about my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE T-shirt challenge earlier in the year. He wanted to donate a tee to the project and asked which way I was more inclined; towards the pink and red cloudy cosmos of outer space or towards the electric brightness of carelessly flung paint splashes.

It was actually a tough decision - both tees are quite striking and the combination of circular backdrops behind the Isles Clothing cursive logo graphic make for some impressively contemporary designs.
Ultimately, what swung it for me was the vibrance of Paint. The bold colours and black roundel help the logo stand out just a little more clearly than Space, and from a promotional perspective, that works better on my blog.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
