Day 182

How many press-ups can I do in a minute?
How many sit-ups can I do in a minute?
How many burpees can I do in a minute?

These are just three of the questions today's THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge T-shirt will be asking of me and other media types across various agencies as part of Men's Fitness magazine's 'Fittest In Media' campaign.

The answers from my perspective, in case you're wondering, are few, fewer and what's one of those?

The Fittest In Media campaign will tour around a number of ad and marketing agencies challenging the staff to a three minute endurance workout, to compete for a place in the final heat.

The ultimate winners of the campaign will be showered (well, really, after this sort of sweaty carry on everyone should be showering) in prizes including a top of the range bike, a personal fitness session and a sports break.

As you can see, for Day 182 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge I have found my way into this promotional T-shirt for the campaign, demanding that anyone thinking they would ace the competition to 'Prove It'. I'll be honest, I'm wearing it ironically. Putting it on was about as athletic as I plan to be today, so I pose absolutely no threat to the iron men and women behind our contemporary media who are taking part.

You can find all the details about the campaign including a full prize breakdown here.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
