Day 239

I don't believe it.
They've done it again.
Just when I thought I'd sidled past all the smut from the weekend by wearing a perfectly neutral T-shirt yesterday, Katherine and Stu come along and drag everyone back down into the gutter!

If you recall, Katherine and Stu is the unofficial brand name of Katherine and Stu, the donating twosome who first made an appearance in my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge back on Day 177. They were the only non-T-shirt affiliated strangers to donate to the project back then and still hold that title today, especially with this second offering.

On the left breast of this white tee is an emblem of a mermaid curled around to form a circle, within which the text 'Wet Dream' is prominently written.
It was here that alarm bells started ringing.
To make matters worse, on the back is a full-blown storybook graphic that appears to be a reconstitution of a feature-length Disney animation, making further mention of wet dreams and citing them as happy endings.

Katherine and Stu... What have you done?

I've discovered that this tee does possess a thin veil of narrative beneath the pornographic onslaught; the truly romantic tale of a man and his passion for windsurfing in conjunction with Bristol University. As the storybook concludes, we learn that no feisty young bookworm can match the turbulent, undulating pleasure of a mistress of another kind; the heart of a windsurfer will always belong to the sea.

This Katherine and Stu original comes partially marked from what I suspect is 'dreaming' too often, but other than that it's a fine article and is one of the best fitting tees I've worn all year.

Thanks to Katherine and Stu for another great donation.

THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE Project

Hi, I’m Andi Best and I’m a regular guy, rising to an irregular challenge.

People tell me I have a lot of T-shirts. These people are not wrong, it’s true, I do.

But one person went as far as to tell me I have so many T-shirts, I could probably wear a different one every day. This is obviously not true, but it got me thinking - what if I could wear a different T-shirt every day? What if I never wore the same T-shirt twice for an entire year?

Challenge accepted

I have created project THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE which, beginning January 1st 2013, will track my pro gress sourcing and wearing a different T-shirt every day for the next 365 days – and I’m going to need your help to do it…
