Minneola, New York, is the home of creative design agency Fat Guy Media and for Day 240 of my THREEHUNDREDANDSIXTEEFIVE challenge, my chest is the home of their logo.
Some time in the recent past, Virginia based Custom Ink were commissioned by the agency to print up some green promotional T-shirts bearing their logo and web address details, one of which Custom Ink has kindly donated to my project.
Surprisingly, it fits me well. I'd have assumed a creative agency called Fat Guy Media would have opted to take the hilariously gimmicky route of ordering nothing but XXL sized tees for all their staff regardless of stature - the ultimate and literal embodiment of their brand. I can imagine it now; a pristine, modern, studio space filled with designers slumped over their Think Pods under the weight of excess T-shirt fabric, relentlessly prising themselves free from elevator and fridge doors all day long. All of their photocopies print in green as baggy sleeves constantly drape over the glass, and a staple excuse for tardiness would be 'high winds'.
Admittedly productivity would be down but the brand image would be working damn hard!
Other suggestions I have for the agency include bacon in the water cooler, absolutely no company gym or medical plan and deliberately undersized desks and chairs.
